Summer 2017 Recap

Thought it would be fun to share a little recap of our summer. Hard to believe it’s already over and we are getting ready for school to start next week.

We spent lots of time walking around our neighborhood lake. It’s one of my favorite spots to bring the camera along and just take some candids. You may recognize it from this session.

Strawberry picking was a favorite. Chloe still talks about it!

These two loved spending so much time together. I know Luke is going to miss his playmate this fall.

Chloe and Luke both spent lots of time painting and we all enjoyed eating ice cream!

We spent lots of time at the park. I also can’t believe how much Luke has grown since this picture was taken back in June!

We loved going to Lewis Ginter. I had free passes from the million blooms contest, so we took advantage of that. We always saw the butterflies!

We went peach picking up in Charlottesville one Saturday morning.

We celebrated Fourth of July by going to our neighborhood pool party. Of course I had to get a few pictures of the kids in their outfits first.

We went to High Bridge Trail State Park.

I got to fly down to the gulf coast of Florida with my girlfriends to see my best friend get married. This was my highlight of the summer! Time away was so refreshing and I was honored when she asked me to take some photographs as well.

A highlight of our summer as a family was our week spent in the Outer Banks.

So thankful for these memories with my sweet family. Next summer they will both be in different stages again. I’m not gonna lie though, I’m ready for the fall!
