How is it already the end of summer?

I’m sitting here writing this post and not only reflecting on the past three months, but also the beginning of so many new milestones about to begin! Chloe will start Kindergarten and Luke will start preschool! It seems like I was just writing this blog post about summer starting.  School beginning seemed so far of then!

  We just got back from the Outer Banks, these are some of my favorites of the kids. We went to the beach 3 times this summer, feeling very fortunate about that! Florida was definitely an adventure, as well as camping in Cape Charles.  Sweet Luke! He grew so much this summer! I remember measuring his height for Grover’s Rollercoaster at Busch Gardens and I thought “there is no way he’ll be tall enough to ride it this summer!” Well, he is now! Chloe is definitely ready for Kindergarten! She is so excited too, of course little nervous, but mostly excited. I can’t wait to see how much she grows and learns this year. I am feeling so blessed when I look back on the past three months. Lots of time at the pool, vacation bible school at church, Busch Gardens, the park, ice cream trips, and travels to the beach! Is there anything better?!
