I’m so excited to share some of my favorite pictures from our recent trip to Disney! We had such a good time. I’ll always love Disney because it reminds me of being a kid again. I went there a lot growing up and I have so many wonderful memories, it makes it really special to […]

This post has been brewing in my head for a few months now. I’ve been wanting to put into words how starting my photography business has actually helped me let go of something I think most moms struggle with, mom guilt. As mothers we want to make sure everyone is taken care of and everyone […]

We had the best time celebrating Christmas this year! Luke is getting old enough to be excited about his gifts and Chloe was all about Santa coming! We managed to go see some tacky lights around town, and I took my new camera along. Of course we got our traditional hot chocolate (for the kids) […]

Yesterday we went to Christmas Town in Williamsburg and we came back to a winter wonderland! The kids couldn’t wait to go out this morning, so we bundled up and of course I brought my big camera out to get some snow shots! This is Allison our snow woman that we made, Chloe named her. […]

This past weekend we made the trip up to Carter’s Mountain to go apple picking. We had the best time walking around exploring, picking apples, the hayride, lunch and of course apple cider donuts! Of course we had to munch on the apples while picking them! I love that we went with some best friends. […]

Yesterday was such a nice day, especially in the morning. So while Chloe was at school me and Luke took a little walk around Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. There was so much to explore, so I really just followed him around and snapped some images! Of course when I was making sure he didn’t jump […]

It was a beautiful morning this past Saturday so we decided to go explore Maymont with the kids. It wasn’t too hot, so we packed a picnic lunch and off we went! We started with the animals, the goats were a big hit! Luke tried to climb in with them. There was a lot of […]

This is Chloe’s last year of preschool then she’s off to kindergarten. My Facebook feed is full of parents sending their kiddos off to kindergarten, I […]

Thought it would be fun to share a little recap of our summer. Hard to believe it’s already over and we are getting ready for school to start next week. We spent lots of time walking around our neighborhood lake. It’s one of my favorite spots to bring the camera along and just take some […]
